spastic energies running around in crazy freedom

it shows what the music man is thinking

tip toes on the light strands
hovering and spinning gracefully through the sky
comfortable in your arms, you twirl me around
dancing on sunbeams, but our bodies never burning
we fly through the sky, not a care in the world
we dance all day and as night comes to fall we float back down to the soft, cool earth

so i settled down and rested in the safe protection of his arms,
let my mind slip away
all it took was dreaming to make the world seem ok

Oil Spills

Adults are always lecturing us, yelling at us children
saying we’re gonna be the end of the world
we need to fix up our act
well how about you look in the mirror
you’re the murderers
you’re teaching us your ways
it’s not our fault the Gulf of Mexico is turning black instead of blue

blue and white shapes collide yet are still separate
the man of the moon beckons me to dance
learn the ways of the cheese of space
we danced for a little but then faded back to black
“i have to go now, my angel is waiting
but ill be back sometime soon, my dear uncle moon”
so he waved me goodbye and watched as i go,
making sure to the angel that i was always safe
